Whether this is your first time through the college admission process or even the third or fourth time, we know that nothing causes families stress like the words ‘standardized testing’. At Summit, our mission is to make preparing for the PSAT and SAT tests as stress-free and helpful as possible. With our world class curriculum, expert tutors, and uniquely-qualified program directors, our customized SAT and PSAT programs have helped thousands of students reach their full potential. By helping students formulate a game plan so they have strategies for every question that they will see on the test, learning all of the material that is tested, and providing hours of practice with actual PSAT and SAT questions so they know the test inside and out, students have the confidence and a plan that they need to reach their score goals.
At Summit, we pride ourselves on two major tenets. The first is good test prep takes the pressure off of students and does not put the pressure on. While success in our program does require commitment and hard work, our expert students and program directors guide students and families through the process so they are not faced with the daunting task of navigating the PSAT and SAT by themselves. Knowing that they have an army of support behind them takes almost all of students’ fears of the PSAT/SAT away.

The second major tenet is to make the students’ scores on these tests more reflective of their true academic abilities and more reflective of their performance in school. “My son or daughter is a terrible test taker” is a refrain that we commonly hear from parents. This sentiment often comes from a lack of confidence and understanding of how to approach the test. The difficulty on the SAT and PSAT often stems from the wording of the question and the misdirection inherent in the question to try to make the question seem harder than it actually is. Understanding what the question is actually asking and what makes a right answer right and a wrong answer wrong are key components to closing that gap.
We encourage you to sign up and take full advantage of our free diagnostic testing and our free consultation with one of our expert program directors so we can begin mapping out a thorough standardized testing plan today. Your success is our success and there is no greater accomplishment than helping our students achieve their goals and gain admission to their #1 college choice.
