Take an AP Practice Test

Much like a scrimmage or dress rehearsal, taking practice tests under realistic, timed conditions removes the mystery of the test, reduces test anxiety, and increases confidence.

Practice tests are a crucial component of an AP exam prep program, giving students exposure to the test so they get a better feel for the types of questions as well as a sense of what sitting for a full-length test is like. Students will also get a sense of the content that the test covers, areas they feel they need to review, and also areas that they might not have time to cover through their class and might need to learn.

It takes an average of 4 to 6 weeks of tutoring sessions to prepare for AP exams. It is recommended that students sit the practice exams as a part of their Summit tutoring program, however, students do not have to be enrolled in a Summit program to sit the practice exams.

AP Practice Tests

For the 2021-22 school year, Summit is offering 14 practice AP exams. Each practice test is approximately three hours in length and includes two sections, multiple-choice selections, and free-response questions.

A $50 fee is required to receive feedback on the free-response question portion of each exam.

The fee is charged after the student takes the exam. There is no cost for sitting the multiple-choice section of the exam, regardless of enrollment status with Summit.

Complimentary Score Report & Consultation

After your student takes a proctored practice test with Summit, you and your student will receive a detailed score report as well as a complimentary consultation with one of our test prep experts.

During a Summit AP tutoring program, students may take up to two practice tests per subject. Questions? Feel free to Contact US

The free-response question portion of each exam is scored by a team of College Board-trained AP experts. Customized feedback is provided to your student on this portion of the exam. Results for the free-response portion of the exam are available 7-10 business days after the exam is taken. Results are sent by email to the student and parent.
