Michael Singer

A Summit tutor since 2015, Michael has decades of teaching experience working with learners of all ages. He specializes in test prep and academic tutoring in math, English, and history, as well as reading, religious studies, ESL/ELL, and biblical studies. He holds a BA in History from Franklin & Marshall and an MA from Brandeis, where he also completed PhD coursework. Outside of tutoring, he enjoys family time, reading, cooking, podcasts, classic video games, and sports.

Paige Guarino

Graduating summa cum laude from Middlebury College, Paige has tutored with Summit since 2020. Pursuing a PhD in Counseling Psychology at Fordham, she researches mental health in the workplace. In her free time, she enjoys singing, musical theater, video games, and winter beach visits.

Gerry Casadei
Gerry Casadei

Gerry joined Summit in 2022 and specializes in AP test prep, particularly for AP Chemistry and AP Environmental Science, as well as SAT and ACT prep. He holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University and an M.S. in Education from the University of Bridgeport. With 20 years of experience teaching high school Chemistry and Environmental Science, including at the AP level, Gerry has earned a reputation for his expert knowledge, engaging teaching style, and ability to connect with students.

A graduate of Columbia University with a degree in literature, Nick has taught and tutored students around the world since 2003. His approach combines clear explanation with humor and encouragement, making complex material accessible. Outside of tutoring, he enjoys traveling and draws on his international experiences to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

Michael Rogers

Michael graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Johns Hopkins University, earning a B.A. in sociocultural anthropology. He has been a tutor and teacher with the company since 2016. Known for his patient, supportive style, Michael helps students build metacognitive awareness and strong logical-reasoning skills. Before joining the company, he worked in community organizing and researched community-based public health programs. Outside of tutoring, he’s an avid reader and crossword puzzler, a language and math enthusiast, and he enjoys biking and hiking.

Marvin Wolfert
Marvin Wolfert

Marvin has been a Summit tutor since 2004 and spent 12 years as a Senior Program Director, guiding families through the standardized-testing landscape. A former attorney focused on estate and business planning, he graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a degree in English Literature and holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School and an LLM in Taxation from Boston University. Outside tutoring, Marvin values time with his family—including four grandchildren—has completed 25 marathons, and is active in his synagogue’s adult education programs.
