Summit’s 1:1 Executive Function Coaching helps students build essential skills like time management, organization, and focus. These abilities are key to academic success but don’t always come naturally. Our personalized coaching equips students with strategies to stay on top of assignments, reduce stress, and perform at their best.

How It Works

  • Personalized Coaching – Students work 1:1 with a dedicated coach to create tailored study and work plans.
  • Focused Sessions – Regular 30-minute to 1-hour meetings keep students engaged and accountable.
  • Recap & Progress Updates – After each session, receive a detailed email summarizing progress, current tasks, and next steps.

Paige Guarino

Graduating summa cum laude from Middlebury College, Paige has tutored with Summit since 2020. She takes a supportive and enthusiastic approach, especially with students facing anxiety, confidence, or perfectionism. Pursuing a PhD in Counseling Psychology at Fordham, she researches mental health in the workplace. In her free time, she enjoys singing, musical theater, video games, and winter beach visits.

Aubrey Elson
Aubrey Elson

A Summit tutor since 2020, Aubrey turns test anxiety into structure and confidence with step-by-step planning, pacing, and problem-solving while building executive-function habits that last beyond test day. An adjunct professor at Dean College and Stonehill College, she brings college-level expectations and actionable feedback to her tutoring sessions. She holds an MFA from Florida Atlantic University and a BA from USC. A professional actor, her restorative-yoga training informs the calm, focused test-day routines she coaches.

Michael Rogers
Michael Rogers

Michael graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Johns Hopkins University, earning a B.A. in sociocultural anthropology. He has been a tutor and teacher with the company since 2016. Known for his patient, supportive style, Michael helps students build metacognitive awareness and strong logical-reasoning skills. Before joining the company, he worked in community organizing and researched community-based public health programs. Outside of tutoring, he’s an avid reader and crossword puzzler, a language and math enthusiast, and he enjoys biking and hiking.

Gerry Casadei

Gerry joined Summit in 2022 and specializes in AP test prep, particularly for AP Chemistry and AP Environmental Science, as well as SAT and ACT prep. He holds a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University and an M.S. in Education from the University of Bridgeport. With 20 years of experience teaching high school Chemistry and Environmental Science, including at the AP level, Gerry has earned a reputation for his expert knowledge, engaging teaching style, and ability to connect with students.

Megan Erickson
Megan Erickson

A strengths-based, methodical tutor, Megan joined Summit in 2013 and builds a close rapport with families while keeping sessions engaging and results-focused. She earned a BS in Psychology/Biological Bases of Behavior from Duke, then spent five years in clinical research at Tufts while completing post-baccalaureate pre-medical work at Harvard. Choosing education over patient care, she now tutors full time and loves helping students reach their goals. Outside of work, she follows sports and travels widely—22 countries and counting—with highlights like Denali base camp, Mt. Fuji, and the Great Barrier Reef.
