Sharon Woo

Sharon has a B.S. in biochemistry and a minor in philosophy from UCLA. She then moved to Cleveland, OH for graduate school at Case Western Reserve University where she earned a M.S and M.B.A. Sharon’s interest in teaching began when she joined a non-profit organization at UCLA called Project Literacy, aimed at providing education and mentorship to students and adults in communities within Los Angeles with historically high rates of illiteracy. Sharon has experience one-on-one tutoring in various math and science subjects, ACT, and ISEE standardized exam prep. She prioritizes understanding the student’s learning style to optimize the tutoring experience and ensure that the student achieves his or her goals. Outside of tutoring, Sharon likes to knit, go on hikes, and explore the city with her husband.
