Led by Summit’s most experienced tutors, these workshops will provide students with an excellent starting point to gain a better understanding of the tests themselves and what they need to do to prepare for them.

Our virtual workshops, led by Summit’s expert tutors, will include:

  • An overview of the AP exam and the content covered
  • Strategies and approaches for Multiple-Choice Questions
  • Strategies and approaches for Free-Response Questions
  • Practice AP exams, on their schedule, including individualized feedback and scoring
  • Opportunities to ask questions to an expert tutor

After attending these workshops, students will gain confidence and have a much deeper understanding of how to succeed on these exams.

Summit’s AP Workshops

Summit Educational Group is pleased to partner with UES to offer AP workshops this winter.

AP Biology

Our presenter is Zdenka Sturm. Zdenka is a graduate of Harvard University and currently serves as Summit’s Assistant Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Training. She has been a Summit tutor for 16 years, and recently worked as an Adjunct Instructor in Biology at Cambridge College.

AP Biology Workshop | Saturday, February 18 | 10 a.m.-12 p.m. EST

AP Calculus AB

Our AP Calculus presenter is Andrew Strelecky. Andrew has a B.S. and M.A. in pure mathematics and math instruction from UConn, and has been with Summit for three years. Andrew has tutored a wide range of subjects but specializes in calculus instruction. Currently, he works for Summit full-time as the Senior Manager of Tutor and Teacher Services for Connecticut and New York.

Our presenter is Mike Rogers. Mike has been a Summit tutor and teacher for seven years, and during that time, he has tutored over 300 hours of Physics. He holds a degree in sociocultural anthropology from Johns Hopkins University.

Our presenter is Marvin Wolfert. Marvin holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He’s been a Summit tutor for 19 years, including for AP U.S., European, and World History, and related History subjects. Marvin currently serves as Summit’s Lead Program Director and Data Analyst.
