A Trusted Test Prep Resource for Schools

We pride ourselves on our ability to customize test preparation classes and informational programs to best meet the needs of our partner schools. Our goals are simple: reduce anxiety and increase clarity around standardized testing while helping students reach their potential.

In our 30+ years in practice, we’ve found that, with access to more information early in the process and the guidance of experts, families and educators are better equipped to create sensible test prep plans that reduce stress and improve student performance. Our school partners agree: each year, we lead hundreds of classes for students and deliver free informational presentations for families at over 100 partner schools.

Whatever you need, Summit has expert staff members and tried and true curriculum ready to share with you. Whether it is one of our highly qualified instructors coming to your school to deliver test prep; a trained proctor to oversee practice tests on campus or remotely; a professional development training for your faculty and staff on test prep; or an information session to educate parents and students about the testing landscape — we can provide you, and your students, the resources to succeed.

A Proven Approach to Classroom Instruction

Our test prep education programs use a three-pronged approach to lead students to success, integrating a proven combination of academic skill-building, test-taking strategy, and practice testing. We understand that every school is unique, and we work with you to customize your test prep programs to meet your goals and budget.

Expert Instructors

When you work with Summit, we intentionally match your school to an instructor to ensure the best fit.  Our instructors are passionate, caring teachers who know how to motivate, engage, and build confidence in young people. Each brings their own unique experiences, strengths, and teaching styles to the classroom. They are highly trained throughout their careers with Summit, making them experts in both test prep itself and how to teach it.

Proprietary Curriculum

Over the course of our 30+ years in the industry we’ve been perfecting our own curriculum and course books for SAT, ACT, SSAT, and ISEE preparation. This industry-leading curriculum is honed constantly by our in-house curriculum team, who are regularly involved in College Board and other industry conferences, always informed of any recent test developments, and deeply knowledgeable of the minutiae of the tests themselves. Our materials, considered best-in-class, are now utilized by schools, businesses, and nonprofits around the world.

The Summit Client Portal

Summit’s innovative online portal makes it easy to track student and class progress through metrics like homework completion, test scores, and attendance. Students, parents, and school administrators all have access to the portal.

Financial Aid Matching

We believe that all students — no matter their financial situation — deserve the best possible test prep. That’s why we award over $100,000 in financial assistance to qualifying students at our partner independent and boarding schools each year. Summit will match the percentage of need-based financial aid offered by the school.

We are dedicated to working with you to make Summit’s offerings open to your students. Please contact a school partner team member for complete details on our financial aid matching program.

“The “New SAT” presentation delivered by Michael Dean was just what our Guidance Department and Administration needed to help us sort out how the new SAT will impact us and how we should counsel our students. Michael’s detailed knowledge of both the ACT and the SAT – including the upcoming changes to the SAT – allowed him to clarify the choices in front of us in a completely unbiased way. We are in a better place now to make a decision thanks to his help.”

Charlie Drane, Vice Principal

“It is important for us as educators to understand the changes to the SAT. Brian gave a thoughtful and compressive overview to our faculty. They greatly appreciated the historical background as well as comparative information he provided. They now feel in a much better place to help support students as they counsel them on what college entrance exams they should pursue.”

Dr. John Buckey, Principal

“Our instructor was really nice and understanding – and she always explained difficult concepts really well.”
